FRANCESCA FREWER TEACHES AT SOMATIC CAMP 2026

Francesca Frewer is a contemporary dance artist and Feldenkrais® practitioner living as a grateful guest on the unceded, ancestral territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations.

Her practice celebrates movement as a conversation with the vast and layered unfolding unknown.

Encompassing contemporary dance, The Feldenkrais Method®, improvisation, and Contact Improvisation, her practice and her classes pursue a sense of embodied freedom, expansive awareness, grounded autonomy, and togetherness.

Excerpt from conversation with Francesca about the upcoming Somatic Camp:

“ I find this beautiful interplay between connecting to the body and connecting to the world, where if we are only going inward we can lose the outside world, and if we are only going outward we can lose the sense of ourselves; but when we are back and forth, or ideally, in touch with both, then each enriches the other.”
