A travelling delivery dance well-suited to gatherings of all kinds!

PRIVILEGE AT HOME 2026

JUNE 6 , 7 | JUNE 13, 14 | JUNE 20, 21

A dancer and a concert pianist pull up to your front door and present you a five-minute dance accompanied by Beethoven’s Waldstein Sonata, played for you live on the back of a pick-up truck. We dance in all sorts of outdoor settings, needing only a space to move and a parking space where you and your friends, guests, and neighborhood can see us.

duration: 5- 10 minutes Tops, and the most fun we have all summer.

Interested in a June appearance on your doorstep? Let us know and we’ll call and talk it over with you. You name it - front yards, backyards,  balconies, back lanes, shared outdoor areas are among the many neighborhood places we’ve performed. We happily perform at up to five spots per neighborhood, and usually visit one neighborhood per evening.

MascallDance is a platform for somatic movement
teaching, creation, research, and practice.

WHERE

MascallDance respectfully acknowledges the unceded ancestral and traditional territories of the, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations, on which we live and work. We pay respect to Coast Nations peoples past, present, and future, to their continuing presence in the homeland and throughout the diaspora, and, with gratitude, to their stewardship of these lands and waters from time immemorial.   

MascallDance’s work is located in Historic Chinatown, at Left of Main, a creative hub for the live arts community which is currently home to Action at a Distance, CADA/West, MascallDance, NOW-ID, and plastic orchid factory.
