In November 2020, MascallDance began a new international collaboration between Canada and New Zealand. Through dance research, stories and conversations, we are exploring water and sustainability.
"The blue green city is something that I think we should each have as part of our imagination.
It's about a natural orientation to water, to the water cycle.
And it's a place that combines and protects the values of hydrology and ecology within the urban landscape."

COME FOR A WALK: the bluegreen city
The innovative blue green influence of "the Queen of Green" - pioneering landscape architect Cornelia Oberlander (1921-2021) - whom Joanna describes collaborating on the Pauline Johnson project - is profound.
We lost her to Covid last month. But her influence continues, enlivening our daily lives.
We celebrate her and thank her.
